Desperately Seeking order....
Ok I'm on a quest in search of THE PERFECT organizing system .... I'm drowning in school papers, schedules and appointments ... Let alone sports ... I've been researching whats worked for others and filing for me filing systems only work if I file all day long .... I wish I had a magic wand... Binders has been something else that I've seen out there... Ok I'm gonna try that ... Well I've got to try something ... The laundry is screaming at me from the floor as I write this so I best be getting back to that but I but I just had to get this down in writing to have some record of my attempts for my intentions of organizing ....

I know your frustration! I still haven't found the perfect system, but I do use cozi.com now. I can use it from my home computer as well as from my droid and they'll automatically sync. It takes care of my calendar, grocery lists, to-do lists, random notes I wish to keep, and it even lets you email your lists to another person. Or, better yet, have Chad add the app to his phone and it would automatically sync to him as well. Oh, and if your boys have phones, it will send them reminders of their appointments (everybody is color-coded) as well. It's helped me a lot, but it doesn't do laundry. I try to do 1-2 loads a day to keep up on that -- or better yet, I have Naomi do that since her job is laundry helper right now. Really, though, good luck!
Oh, and check out flylady.com. She's got great organizing/de-cluttering ideas and routines.
Thanks Bethany for your suggestions and the flylady link ... I'm glad that cozi is working for you ..I was having trouble with it ... With all these devices, I would expect for things to run more smoothly.. we've been using google calendar it's great because it will sync things people email ...such as meeting and appt and such just gotta get Chad and boys to actually use it ..... The main problem I'm dealing with is the amount of paper schools send home... And trying to teach the boys to separate and toss ... But it seems every other paper is a sign and return.... we need to back to slate and chalk lol jk
